MDS serves approximately 750 people from birth through senior citizens with a full continuum of services customized to meet needs and assist  each person in living as independently as possible. The agency operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day, employing approximately 375 people.

Works by people from MDS and the Grand Junction Regional Center who participate in art classes through the Art Center will be on display at this special exhibit during the month of July. You're invited to the opening to congratulate our artists and to help assure they will attend also for their "opening". The exhibit is a manifestation of the collaborative nature of what happens in classrooms, workshops, studios, and exhibition spaces. The exhibits in the galleries inform and inspire new paths of exploration. The exchange of books and art materials offer artists points of reference and tools at discounted prices. There is a circuit of learning facilitated by the activities in the classrooms and what is realized in the exhibit spaces. Art Center instructors learn just as much from students through the process of making. Please join in the visual conversation and visit this exhibit.
